About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Engineering Strategy to play a pivotal role in establishing and executing operating models, governance, and leadership rhythms that enhance the effectiveness and delivery outcomes of the engineering organization. This senior leadership position is accountable for large program execution at scale and directly manages RTEs to ensure consistent planning, dependency management, and delivery governance across the engineering Agile Release Train and the Cloud Application Migration Release Train. The successful candidate will be responsible for portfolio and program leadership at scale, creating and delivering tools and resources for decision-making, and driving alignment and collaboration between engineering, tech, ops, and other key stakeholders. Candidates for the VP, Engineering Strategy role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of equivalent work experience in a technology or financial services field. Essential qualifications include a proven track record of leading teams to deliver results, strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. The role requires a skilled communicator, a problem solver with experience in shaping and influencing strategy, and the ability to manage talent development and engagement. Desired characteristics include experience in leading organizational change and a demonstrated ability to innovate and approach business priorities creatively. The VP will also be expected to act as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Engineering and lead various business-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned.
