Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women's trauma unit.

Expressive Arts Therapists are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:

• Develop and implement expressive therapy treatment plans that are age appropriate, and consistent with overall treatment goals.
• Facilitates patient groups that are well prepared and beneficial to clients.
• Maintain the clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services.
• Consistently engages and interacts with our patients and their families by using the treatment principles of Trauma Responsive Care.
• Effectively contribute to treatment planning of patients.
• Effectively contribute to discharge planning of patients.

Qualifications What Does LBHH Require for this Role? Licensure: Masters level Music Therapy and Recreational Therapy preferred. Registered and /or Board Certified Art Therapy or Registered Dance Movement therapy preferred. Education: Master's Degree in Art Therapy or Dance Movement. Bachelor's Degree with Board Certification in Music Therapy or Recreational Therapy. Ability to work weekends.
