Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for a full-time Transfer Admission Counselor.

Job Details:

• Location : F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA
• Classification : Full-time, Exempt
• Schedule : 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Will require evenings and weekends.
• Reports to : Director of Recruitment
• Department : Admission
• Approved Salary Range: Approved starting salary of $43,888.00.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the Transfer Admission Counselor will be responsible for the implementation of transfer recruitment strategies and programs designed to meet transfer enrollment goals at Franklin & Marshall College.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee transfer students throughout the cycle of recruitment and enrollment by cultivating a personalized and proactive approach to nurturing them through each phase of the process including through the inquiry stage, application review, credit evaluation, deposit, and ultimately arrival to the college.
• Collaborate with the relevant Admission staff and the college's Communications team on search, inquiry development, nurturing, and application generation campaigns targeted to transfer students. Contribute to annual updates of the communication flows and the development of ad-hoc messages throughout the year.
• Collaborate on optimizing the website and digital media for transfer recruitment.
• Collaborate with the Director of the Admission Visit Experience & Lombardo Welcome Center Manager on on-campus, off-campus, and virtual events and event components targeted to transfer students.
• Collaborate with colleagues in academic affairs and student affairs to advance a transfer-friendly culture in general, a seamless credit review process, and an effective approach to onboarding and orientation for transfer students.
• Contribute to the development and management of partnerships with nearby community colleges and build productive relationships with community college advisors.
• Attend transfer college fairs and give presentations to classes, clubs, and/or community colleges as needed.
• In collaboration with the Director of Recruitment, generate transfer strategies and priorities that are aligned with institutional Enrollment objectives/goals.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge of national student markets and mobility trends, and ability to utilize data to assess, evaluate and validate decisions.
• Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively to large groups.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to travel and be available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Technolutions Slate.
• Experience recruiting transfer students for a liberal arts college.

Additional Information:
