TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Newark, New York, 14513!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: New York license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: MUST HAVE NEW YORK LICENSE IN HAND. This is an 8-week contract position. The specialty is MS/Tele. Shifts are 3x12 nights from 18:00 to 06:30. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Floating is required within skillset. First-time travelers may be considered. Patient ratios are 6:1. Candidates must have charting experience with EPIC. Patient diagnoses include general medicine, social admissions, and surgical cases. Additional skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and adherence to isolation precautions/PPE. Support services in this unit include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Daily census is approximately 32 patients. Number of beds in the unit is 37. There are no specific special procedures or equipment requirements for this unit.
