This travel assignment is for a House Supervisor RN responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing care across multiple units in a geriatric-focused facility. The role requires current NY RN licensure in hand, EPIC charting experience, and prior charge/lead nursing experience. Locals within 75 miles are not accepted.

Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and leadership for nursing staff across multiple units; serve as the charge nurse and coordinate daily care plans.
- Manage patient safety, de-escalation of aggressive or challenging behaviors, code management, and emergency preparedness.
- Oversee IV starts/maintenance, PICC line care, wound care, ostomy and tube-feed management as needed.
- Support infection control measures, isolation practices, and incident/sentinel event reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, unit secretary) to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document care and updates in EPIC with accurate charting and timely communication to the care team.

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand to submit; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (not accepting local candidates within 75 miles).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience with prior charge/lead responsibilities.
- Certifications: BLS required.
- Charting/EMR: EPIC experience required.
- Population and setting: Comfortable working with geriatric patients, including those with dementia/Alzheimer’s, neurobehavioral issues, diabetes, cardiovascular and orthopedic post-op needs; ability to supervise across multiple units and manage complex cases.
- Education: RN licensure in New York state; ability to work in a multi-unit supervisory role.
