Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and manage one or more projects Implement highly developed skills in client and consultant communications and coordination Create project scheduling and milestone delivery Manage project team’s utilization based on project fees Utilize strong understanding of building systems and technical detailing Execute the construction administration phase of projects Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance to specifications Process RFI’s and submittals Responsible for the complete integration of design intent and technical aspects of the project Responsible for setting team goals and follow through Monitor the performance of the project team to assure that the Firm’s quality standards and design goals are being met Lead project related meeting and discussions Provide mentorship and be able to direct work to team members Develop and maintain successful client relationships for repeat business Required Skills and Abilities A professional degree in architecture or interior design (License if “Project Architect”) Proficiency in AutoCAD Understanding of Revit Proficiency of Model Building Codes and other regulatory agencies Strong leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving capabilities, prioritization, organization and follow through Agility and flexibility. Must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks Desire to work on all phases of a project through construction completion Value added Understanding of Bluebeam Working in both Imperial and Metric Education and Experience Master’s degree in architecture or interior design 7+ years of experience required Proven licensed architects will have job title adjusted to "Project Architect".
