Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a variety of general office activities for assigned groups. Your role on the team: Manages, coaches, and develops a transactional sales team, including inside and outside sales Manages Sales Coordinator in processing orders of transactional sales Assists in recruiting and developing future sales candidates Creates quality reporting to show sales penetration by market segment and territory Trains sales team to sell in a multi-modal environment Oversees office P&L responsibilities Oversees marketing plan including brand recognition and expansion, internet sales penetration, print material, coop marketing with manufactures, and sales plan execution Oversees negotiation and management of sales agreements Travels as needed Other duties as required and assigned What you need: Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university Minimum 4 to 7 years experience in Sales - multimodal transportation Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Sales Management Valid drivers license Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to develop close customer relationships What you gain from joining our team: Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness app. Free telemedical access to doctors and therapists through FirstStop Health available first day of employment!
