Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment begins in mid to late August and concludes in mid-June, offering a structured and engaging academic calendar.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Experience teaching or supporting students with diverse needs, including behavioral and life skills support
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Skilled in designing and adapting curriculum to meet IEP requirements
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities for progress monitoring

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• Onsite, full-time schedule: 7 hours per day, with a 30-minute lunch break (32.5 hours weekly)
• Provide direct instruction and support to K-12 students in both inclusion and self-contained classrooms
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance and supporting student progress
• Deliver targeted interventions to address behavioral goals and life skills development
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that celebrates student strengths and addresses challenges
• Partner with families and support teams to track goals and advocate for student needs
