The work schedule is flexible, allowing therapists to manage their caseloads effectively while adapting to the needs of their patients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including their capacity to perform everyday activities safely and independently.Develop and design tailored plans of care that detail specific treatment modalities, frequency of sessions, and measurable goals to track patient progress.Implement treatment plans through hands-on therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and the use of specialized equipment.Regularly document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.Educate patients and their families on their conditions, the rehabilitative process, and strategies to enhance their overall health and wellness post-treatment.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist at Physical Momentum Therapy, you will encounter a diverse patient population ranging from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions to individuals with chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be pivotal in helping these patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through structured rehabilitation programs tailored to their specific needs.QualificationsActive Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are welcomed but not required.Strong knowledge of standard physical therapy practices and the ability to follow Standard Precautions, utilizing personal protective equipment as required.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience working as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred.Experience with specific populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports injuries will be beneficial.Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, dependent upon caseload and experience.
