The organization provides a wide range of services such as TMS, telemedicine, outpatient care, substance abuse treatment, and adult and geriatric psychiatry. Patients can walk in or schedule appointments to receive personalized treatment for mental health and emotional challenges, with a focus on improving overall well-being and daily functioning. My Psychiatrist offers comprehensive psychiatric medication management, including ongoing monitoring and adjustments to support effective treatment. The team emphasizes thorough patient assessments, individualized care plans, and therapeutic techniques that enhance patient outcomes at work, at home, and in relationships. Role Description The Patient Care Liaison is a full-time, on-site role based in Plantation, FL. This role is responsible for welcoming patients, coordinating check-in and check-out processes, and guiding individuals through clinic procedures to ensure a supportive, efficient experience. The Patient Care Liaison will communicate with patients, families, and clinical staff to schedule appointments, confirm insurance and documentation, and relay non-clinical information clearly and respectfully. Daily tasks include assisting with patient intake, updating electronic records, helping patients understand treatment plans and follow-up instructions, and addressing general questions or concerns. The role collaborates closely with psychiatrists and other team members to support continuity of care and promote a calming, professional environment for all patients. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical teams. Candidates should possess Patient Care and Direct Patient Care skills to support individuals respectfully during intake, scheduling, and ongoing visits. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine sufficient to understand clinical workflows and accurately relay non-clinical information. Candidates should possess skills in organization, time management, and attention to detail for managing appointments, documentation, and patient records. Candidates should possess a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, with sensitivity to mental health issues and diverse backgrounds. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in healthcare, psychology, or related fields is beneficial. Experience in an outpatient medical or behavioral health setting, especially in front-office or patient support roles, is preferred.
