Residency Program Coordinator I City/State: Woodbridge, VA Work Shift: First (Days) – Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday. Overview Sentara Health is hiring for a Residency Program Coordinator I for the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) in Woodbridge, VA. This full‑time, permanent position (40hours) reports daily to the Sentara Administrative Director of Graduate Medical Education and works alongside the Program Director to ensure program compliance with ACGME requirements and sponsor institutional policies. The role is responsible for day‑to‑day program activities, including organizing academic conferences, managing the educational schedule, communicating with clinical schedulers, and coordinating with prospective applicants and alumni. Responsibilities Provide general administrative oversight and management of a specific GME training program. Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and sponsor institution policies. Organize and support academic/educational conferences. Oversee the educational schedule and maintain the clinical schedule. Coordinate with prospective applicants and program alumni. Education Associate Degree (ALD) – Required. Certification/Licensure TAGME (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) preferred upon hire; if not possessed, must be obtained within 3 years of hire. Experience 3 years of administrative experience – Required. Experience as an administrator or coordinator in an academic, business, or healthcare setting preferred.
