Overview Multifamily Construction Project Manager - Woodbridge, VA. Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr. Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level Project Manager to oversee a large-scale multifamily development currently underway in Dumfries, VA, with transition to Bethesda, MD headquarters for long-term growth across a diverse portfolio ranging from $20M to $200M+. A highly respected commercial general contractor with over 60 years of success in the DC metro region, with a 70/30 split between new construction and interiors. They work across education, municipal, life sciences, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and commercial markets, with project sizes typically between $20M and $200M+ . The firm emphasizes teamwork, culture, and employee development in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day management of a $90M+ multifamily new construction project. Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and quality control. Interface directly with clients, consultants, internal teams, and field staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Utilize project management tools including Procore, Microsoft Office, Primavera ; familiarity with Bluebeam and BIM preferred. Collaborate with and report directly to the Project Executive . Participate in long-range planning for future projects across commercial, hospitality, higher ed, life sciences, and municipal sectors. Profile / Qualifications 5-10 years of industry experience with at least 2-3 years in a Project Manager capacity. Proven history of managing projects $40M+ , ideally with multifamily experience. Ability to take initiative and operate independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism and polish to interface with high-level stakeholders.
