Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute diversified accounting and auditing engagements with an emphasis on for-profit and some nonprofit clients across designated industries, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to engagement timelines.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and firm methodology to assess risk, design audit procedures, and resolve complex accounting and reporting matters.
  • Participate in engagement planning, including risk assessment, staffing, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Review and evaluate workpapers, prepare financial statements, and related reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering strong relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, ensuring engagements are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the firm's quality standards.
  • Exhibit and continuously strengthen technical competencies, including emerging accounting standards, industry-specific reporting requirements, internal control frameworks, and audit technology tools.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's preferred
  • CPA licensed or actively pursuing certification highly preferred
  • 4+ years of recent public accounting experience; for-profit and nonprofit experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed

This is a full-time position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours, including some evenings and weekends, will be required during peak busy seasons.

Pay Range:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00
