Make a positive impact by supporting students with autism as a Special Education Teacher on a contract assignment. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for Minnesota licensure)
• Experience supporting students with autism, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication skills for partnering with families and staff
• Ability to adapt lessons and instructional strategies to meet a range of learning needs
• Collaborative, flexible approach in a team environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work with general education teachers to ensure inclusion and successful classroom participation
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school staff meetings
• Foster a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment, promoting student growth and independence
