Maintenance Technician

Maintenance WorkerApartment community in Lowell seeking a hands on and energetic maintenance worker. The ideal candidate should be organized, self-motivated, dependable and have a proven track record of results. Under direction, will assist in the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Must be willing to work overtime and perform snow removal as well as be available for on-call coverage.Position Responsibilities:Clean vacant units, interior spaces, and groundsEnsure that vacant units are turned over in a timely fashionGrounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removalPaint building interiors and associated prep-workMiscellaneous carpentry repairsMinor appliance repairsRepair or replace plumbing fixturesChange locksFull and comprehensive benefits, including Medical and Dental, Time Off, and 401(k) with Match. Salary will be based upon experience but between $25 and $28 per hour.Requirements:Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentWillingness to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)Familiarity with maintenance related software, including Yardi Mobile, a plusGood work safety habitsGood communication skillsAbility to interact with a diverse range of people, Spanish speaking a plus!
