We're seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to keep critical machining equipment operating at peak performance while playing a key role in reducing downtime and improving reliability across the facility.Benefits and Compensation$125,000 - $145,000 base salaryMedical insurance (company pays up to 75% of premium)Dental and vision insuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with company match up to 4%Paid time off and holidaysStable, growing manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work with advanced CNC technology and automation systemsHigh level of autonomy and technical ownershipRequirements & Qualifications8+ years of CNC machine repair and maintenance experienceStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience maintaining and repairing CNC mills and lathesKnowledge of servo systems, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical documentationExperience troubleshooting complex machine failures independentlyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely around manufacturing equipmentMust HavesDiagnose and repair CNC machining centers, turning centers, and supporting automation equipmentTroubleshoot CNC controls, motors, sensors, drives, and machine componentsMaintain bar feeders, material handling systems, chip conveyors, and coolant systemsCoordinate with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service providersSupport machine installations, upgrades, retrofits, and reliability initiativesMaintain detailed maintenance records, repair logs, and troubleshooting documentationRespond to equipment downtime events and implement long-term corrective actionsPreferred Background & SkillsExperience in aerospace, medical device, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with Fanuc controls and major CNC platformsExperience supporting Kitamura, Brother, Miyano, or similar equipmentBackground working with OEM service teams and equipment vendorsTechnical degree, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experienceContinuous improvement and root-cause analysis experienceJOB ID: 177473 #postRob McDermott
