Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychotherapeutic evaluations for patients experiencing mental health concerns related to substance abuse.

• Provide psychotherapy sessions, incorporating methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) tailored specifically for substance recovery.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

• Foster collaboration with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure cohesive care for each patient.

• Educate patients and their families about available mental health and substance abuse resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health and substance abuse treatment to enhance your practice continuously.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on a diverse patient population experiencing varying degrees of substance abuse disorders, many of whom may also grapple with co-occurring mental health conditions. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in supporting these individuals by addressing complex emotional and behavioral issues, ultimately guiding them towards healthy coping strategies and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LICSW license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with emphasis on substance abuse therapy.

• Proven knowledge of solution-focused therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is 1 year, candidates with additional experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or working with hospice populations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus, as it will facilitate efficient patient documentation and communication within the treatment team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
