This position is completely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your home while still being a vital part of our hospice center's multidisciplinary team. You will engage with clients through virtual sessions, ensuring that care continues seamlessly despite geographical barriers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform virtual psychosocial assessments to identify clients' strengths and needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their individual situations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and group sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues such as grief, depression, anxiety, and chronic illness adjustment.

• Collaborate actively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other social workers to coordinate and implement integrated treatment plans that promote clients' overall health and well-being.

• Advocate passionately for clients' rights, helping them access essential community resources, support services, and address barriers to care.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using our electronic health record system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LICSW will primarily focus on clients within a hospice environment, many of whom may be experiencing complex emotional responses as they navigate end-of-life issues. You will be instrumental in providing support to clients and their families, using therapeutic strategies that honor their unique experiences and emotional needs. This specialized setting requires sensitivity, compassion, and a deep understanding of the psychological impacts of terminal illness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, particularly in a mental health or hospice context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
