Diabetes Educator RN

Role Diabetes Education Specialist responsible for supporting diabetic patients and their families through education and blood sugar surveillance in a hospital setting. Key Duties Conduct patient consultations, provide diabetes education, participate in best practice committees, and support team member training as a subject matter expert. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BSN preferred), minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, with acute care and diabetic patient experience highly desirable. Must be a registered nurse licensed in the appropriate state. Skills & Requirements Ability to complete skills validation, support culturally diverse and age-specific needs, and travel between facilities as needed. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call involved.
