Human Resources Assistant

We’re hiring for a fast-paced, people-focused support team within a global e-commerce and technology company in the online retail and logistics industry. This is a great opportunity for students and early-career professionals interested in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, or Administrative Support. No prior HR experience is required — training will be provided. As a Jr. Human Resources Assistant, you’ll help job applicants navigate the hiring process from start to finish. This role combines candidate communication, administrative support, scheduling coordination, and problem-solving in a professional call center environment. You’ll interact with candidates through phone, email, chat, and SMS, assist with virtual pre-hire appointments, resolve technical or process-related issues, and support hiring operations with administrative tasks. Location: Tempe, AZ (in‑person role) Pay: $18.30/hour Contract Length: July 20, 2026 – January 20, 2027 Start Date: July 20, 2026 What You’ll Do Support candidates throughout the hiring process Provide timely, professional assistance to applicants and ensure a positive candidate experience. Handle inbound and outbound communications Respond to candidate inquiries via phone, email, chat, and SMS, including escalations and follow‑ups. Conduct virtual pre‑hire appointments Guide candidates through required hiring steps and help remove technical or process‑related barriers. Manage daily workflows, update records, coordinate scheduling, and support hiring operations as needed. Contribute to process improvement Identify recurring issues and help improve the overall candidate experience and hiring process. This role is ideal for: College students or recent graduates with no experience Individuals studying or interested in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, Sociology, or related fields People who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and staying organized Candidates interested in administrative support, recruiting coordination, or HR operations Call center or customer service experience is welcome but not required Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using email, chat, phone systems, and basic computer tools Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Must be able to work in‑person in Tempe, AZ Why This Role?
