Position Overview Director of Operations to support the Men’s and Women’s gymnastics, golf, tennis, and fencing programs under the general supervision of the Head Coaches. This non‑coaching role coordinates operational aspects to ensure programs run smoothly. Responsibilities Assist with video operations Oversee the budget Coordinate class schedules Hire and manage personnel Manage apparel and equipment Coordinate camps and schedule non‑conference and tournament games Act as liaison to the Big Ten Conference and relevant Penn State Athletics departments Compile team‑related statistics Plan, coordinate, and execute year‑long travel plans Arrange team practice schedules Coordinate team community service activities Organize recruiting visits Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree 1+ year(s) of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Certifications None. Background Checks / Clearances Position requires PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. A valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check are also required. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $51,000.00 – $74,000.00, inclusive of all potential grades. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off (holidays, vacation, sick time), and a 75% tuition discount for employees, spouses, and children.
