QA Analyst

Test Analyst (Lead)

The lead would need to be able to analyze the systems for test coverage and coordinate with business SMEs to validate end-to-end business processes. Data analysis would also be a helpful skill.

Ideal candidates would also have experience in the following business areas: healthcare insurance claims experience – but must have strong test management and strategy skills that would be applied.

General Job Description:

Responsible for end to end test architecture and delivery for all projects within assigned delivery portfolio as defined within the Testing Center of Excellence (COE) Quality Assurance Delivery Model (Project Initiation, Startup and Planning, Requirements and Design, Construction, Testing and through Warranty and Closure)

Responsible for overseeing quality and testing processes, including managing delivery of test architects, leads, tester and vendor staffing supporting on portfolio projects or releases

Responsible for setting and managing stakeholder delivery and reporting expectations

Responsible for continuous supporting and marketing of the departments overall Quality Assurance Delivery Model

Responsible for direct test lead and tester staff management, including skills development and retention of internal test team

Responsible for execution and continuous maturity of all core QA delivery functions; including, Effort Estimation and Forecasting, Test Architecture, Test Strategy, Test Planning and Execution, Defect Management, Portfolio Budget Maintenance, and Reporting.

Responsible for the quality of data and information coming out of assigned managed portfolio efforts rolling up to the Sr. Director / Director’s enterprise monthly, quarterly and CIO reports

Responsible for the continuous development and maturity and assets and artifacts that will improve the department’s capabilities to deliver at improved quality, faster performance and better cost efficiency

Responsible for contributing to the development and maturation of the strategic vendor/partner delivery model

Responsible for contributing to the development of the shared testing service practice model across other internal quality delivery areas.

• Typically requires 8-10 years of IT experience and 3+ years of related senior experience in business and technical processes; 2+ years in a test leadership role.
• Requires demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple technology projects on time and within budget, following SDLC standards.
• Knowledge of toolsets such as HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, Load Runner and test documentation procedures.
• Requires experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Reporting test leads delivery of Master Test Strategies across project/release efforts within the assigned managed Portfolio
• Maintains budget Plan & Actuals across assigned managed Portfolio
• Ensures constant maturity and enhancement of QA assets into share repositories
• Actively drives quality controls and process improvements
• Ensures consistent standardized and automated dashboard reporting across all assigned managed portfolio efforts
• Provides mentoring and leadership to junior members of the organization as well as serving as a role model for the enterprise.
