About this Job: MedStar Health is looking forn MRI Technologist to join our team! This position has a limited time $10,000 sign on bonus. This is a full-time position weekends 11a-11p. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, registered Radiology Technologist. MRI Technologist will make a difference by operating magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies. Primary Duties: Archivesraw data to obtain the best possible image. Develops films inautomaticprocessor and ensures films are of acceptable diagnostic quality and completeness. Transfers images from disc or magnetic media to produce transparency. Ensures patients are free of objects that may interfere with the procedure. Transfers, positions, and instructs patientsregardingthe procedure to obtain and effect the desired radiographic diagnostic results as specified by the physician. Instructs anddemonstratesMRI equipment operation, filming, and other technical aspects for professional staff and students. Notifiesappropriate personnelofequipment malfunctions and repairs needed. Schedules MRI examinations when needed to ensure smooth flow andoptimalutilizationof equipment. Operates control console for each patient‘s scan, including selection of proper imaging techniques;operatesvarious peripheral hardware. Enterspatient data at start of examination andmonitorsdata acquisition during procedure. Qualifications: 1-2 yearsrelatedspecialtyexperience (i.e.,CT scan) ARRT Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Licensed by State of Maryland or (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR) Basic Life Support (BLS) This position has a hiring range of : USD $35.68 - USD $58.84 /Hr. #J-18808-Ljbffr MedStar Health
