Remote German Freelance Accountant for Health Startup

We are a stress diagnostics and human performance coaching startup. We have the mission to enhance health, performance and self-awareness of people in intense jobs: We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage all aspects of accounting and taxation for our German GmbH. As all of Sapiens employees, it would help a lot if you are passionate about health and longevity. Working language will be mostly German, with some employees speaking english however. We work in B2B space like most professional services companies with few client invoices per year (let's say 20-30 invoices per year). We work with Qonto and want to automate most accounting (e.g., automated link of receipts to expenditures etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for filing registration at the finance ministry (Anmeldung) and ensuring compliance with German tax regulations. Strong knowledge of German accounting practices and tax laws is essential. If you are detail-oriented yet pragmatic and can provide timely financial reporting, we would love to hear from you.
