Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries Verify patient insurance information and process co-pays and billing Maintain and update accurate patient records and electronic health records (EHR) Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming Requirements: Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role preferred Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus About Us: CARL F HYDER M D P C is a trusted medical practice serving the Medford, NJ community with compassionate, high-quality patient care.
