Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across grade levels as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This onsite/travel position offers a dynamic experience within a well-regarded district, with the possibility of remote work as a backup option. Your role will be matched to a specific school building in Porter County, Indiana, accommodating both your expertise and preferences for grade bands or geographic areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse caseload of typically 80–100 students, PreK–12.
• Implement individualized communication goals and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Maintain accurate documentation, assist with progress monitoring, and collaborate actively with educational staff and families.
• Exhibit flexibility as building assignments may be finalized based on district needs and your preferences.
• Support district-wide initiatives to enhance student achievement for those with speech-language needs.

Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license and credentials for Indiana.
• Up-to-date on all standard compliance requirements, including background check and district-specific clearances.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving building assignments.
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued.
