Location: South Seattle, WA (100% On-Site, 5 days a week)

Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for top-tier candidates (paid after 90 days).

Role Overview: Cascade Machinery and Electric, Inc. is seeking an elite, highly organized Field Service Manager / Dispatcher to serve as the critical link between our customers and our field technician team. You will be the first point of contact for field issues, ensuring our customers get the help they need while keeping our technicians efficiently scheduled, safe, and fully equipped.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting & Dispatch: Answer incoming calls, troubleshoot customer equipment issues in the field, clearly explain service rates, and dispatch field technicians when on-site attention is required.
• Field Team Management: Schedule all field service calls and actively manage the day-to-day operations of the field team.
• Site Safety & Compliance: Ensure field technicians have the proper site clearances, certifications (e.g., confined space, lockout/tagout), and PPE required for specific customer sites before dispatching.
• On-Call / Emergency Management: Manage the 24/7 technician "on-call" rotation schedule and handle emergency dispatch protocols for urgent breakdowns.
• Fleet Management: Track and schedule routine maintenance, DOT compliance, and basic inventory stocking for the fleet of field service vehicles.
• Service & Parts Coordination: Order necessary parts and schedule routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) services.
• Billing & Auditing: Audit technician "stories" (service reports), timecards, and Accounts Payable (AP) billing associated with field jobs. Generate and issue accurate invoices for completed field work.

Requirements:

• Excellent multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; must be highly effective at sending emails, creating quotes, and preparing billing.
• Strong, clear in-person communication skills for managing technicians and collaborating with office staff.
