Production Associate

Operate various equipment in the manufacture of our products. Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed. Placement of materials on conveyor system. Operate material handling equipment. Complete necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Report malfunctions of equipment and deficiencies in processes. Attain quality and quantity standards and keep accurate records. Complete Take-5 Risk assessment and/or Pre-Flight Check lists at the beginning of each shift. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Comply with Company policies and procedures. Must report unsafe conditions to supervisor. Take action to prevent accidents and injuries. Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience operating machinery preferred. Previous experience operating a forklift is a plus. Willing to be cross-trained in other positions. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Understanding and knowledge of reading basic measuring devices such as a tape measure. Ability to work cohesively within a team and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to obtain powered industrial vehicle (forklift / pallet jack) certifications.
