Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, security, and proper disposal of all aircraft parts and related materials. The role partners with Repair, Material and AOG Coordinators to support daily shipping and receiving requirements, oversees shipment tracking, ensures timely and cost-efficient packaging, and maintains records of shipments and issues encountered during shipping/receiving. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Track, ship, and expedite material to support critical aircraft requirements. Obtain multiple quotes for fiscal responsibility. Code all shipments to track expenses and review shipping invoices for accuracy. Monitor loans, borrows, and exchanges to ensure timely shipment and proper paperwork for cores. Perform initial receiving of incoming materials. Communicate order receiving discrepancies to the appropriate Buyer/Repair Coordinator for proper resolution. Prioritize discrepancies needed for AOG or critical part requirements. Determine best shipment method and track materials to outstations, COMAT, consignment inventory, and off-site storage. Ensure parts are handled and stored properly to prevent damage and contamination. Ship all outgoing materials with compliant paperwork retention, including electronic filing for hazardous shipments. Maintain electronic files with current revision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Conduct all tasks safely and in compliance with local, state, federal safety and health regulations and internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receiving documentation and ensure traceability of transactions. Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels) following regulatory requirements. Monitor and update electronic shipping tracking and dashboards. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Address customer inquiries or complaints related to shipping and logistics. Apply best practices to fiscally coordinate and safely pack materials for shipments. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School diploma Valid driver’s license Ability to obtain MSP SIDA Badge Proficiency with various computer programs and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently without supervision Ability to read, write and understand English Strong oral and written communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Two years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Experience with TRAX or other maintenance software Hazmat shipping experience Experience with FedEx Ship Manager or other shipping platforms High attention to detail Work Environment This role works in a hangar and stockroom, with exposure to dust and noise due to proximity to airport runways and hangar operations. Inclement weather conditions apply. Physical Demands Regularly required to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, with team lifts up to 120 pounds.
