About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and hands-on oversight of the division's finance operations. This includes financial reporting and analysis, project profitability, cash management, general ledger, inventory, and payroll. The role involves direct team leadership, partnering with the Division President to drive growth, profitability, and cash flow, and identifying opportunities for continuous process and organizational improvement. The VP of Finance will also be involved in creating, coordinating, and evaluating financial and business programs, establishing internal control safeguards, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with an MS or MBA strongly preferred, and a CPA/CMA also strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior-level finance position, with at least 5 years in a business that sells and services heavy-duty industrial or similar equipment across multiple states, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, be adept at turning financial insights into action, and have experience in strategic planning, execution, and change management. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, as well as federal and state financial regulations, is essential. The role demands a results-oriented individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills, who is capable of influencing and driving change within the organization.
