Inspector/Packer

Join our manufacturing team as an Inspector/Packer, where youll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, trimming, and packaging of our finished products. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Trim excess flash from products using knives, punch, reamer, and/or spin trimming equipment.
• Pack products into appropriate cartons, using caps, sides, and banding to secure and ensure safe transport.
• Oversee machine operations; notify appropriate personnel when any issues occur to maintain product quality.
• Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before being packed.
• Maintain ink trays and glue tanks, ensuring they are filled as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork, ensuring accuracy in labels and product information.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the production area clean and orderly.
• Adhere to all safety standards and wear required protective gear such as hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Good vision to inspect product quality and ensure precise handling.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include close proximity to moving parts, noise, and dust.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent standing, walking, and bending are required.
• Work involves exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.
• Required safety gear includes hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.

Shift & Pay:
