Overview
We are seeking a skilled Swiss Screw Machinist to join our dynamic team in Morgan Hill, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production of precision components using advanced Swiss machining techniques. Responsibilities- Set up and operate Swiss screw machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a Swiss screw machinist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
