Manual Machinist

Job TitleEssential DutiesRead blueprints, tooling and set up instructions and standard charts for specificationsSet-up, and run all facets of work assignedSpot check production parts using calipers and micrometers per blueprint specifications.Monitor machine operation and report malfunctions to supervisor.Monitor tool performance through in-process quality checklists.Ensure company procedures and "best machine practices" are being always followed and are in placePerform additional related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2-3 years of Manual Lathe, Mill experience, and Surface grinder. CNC experience a plus.Experience using shop tools such as and not limited to mics, depth gages, calipers, indicators, etc.Strong production and safety knowledge a mustAptitude to work in a team environment with ability to plan and achieve goalsAnalytical with strong problem-solving abilitiesBenefits401K and profit sharing2 weeks of paid vacation (after one year of employment)Medical and Dental 80% paid by the companyPay is $23-$32/Hour DOE Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
