$200k - $250kThe Brookline Center for Community Mental Health
Chief Executive Officer
The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health (The Center) is a leading nonprofit mental health organization based in Brookline, Massachusetts, dedicated to promoting mental health, emotional well-being, and equitable access to care for children, adolescents, adults, and families statewide. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the organization has served the community for more than six decades through high-quality clinical care, innovative school-based programs, and pioneering models that strengthen mental health systems locally and nationally.
In addition to providing comprehensive outpatient mental health services, The Center develops and manages innovative prevention and intervention programs designed to address emerging mental health needs, particularly for young people and underserved communities. Through initiatives such as BRYT, COMPASS, CEDAR, M-PATH, and other programs, The Center has earned national recognition for advancing effective school-based, community focused, and clinical mental health supports and expanding access to care across Massachusetts and beyond.
The Center provides or facilitates more than 33,000 visits and employs approximately 130 staff members, including a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, educators, consultants, and program leaders. Operating on an annual budget of approximately $20 million, The Center is supported by a diverse mix of public grants and contracts, third-party insurance reimbursements, private service agreements, and individual and institutional philanthropic investments.
