Step into a dynamic contract role where your expertise as a School Psychologist is pivotal in fostering student success and well-being across two K-8 campuses in Chicago. In this in-person opportunity, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload of 60 students, supporting both academic and social-emotional growth within a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Active Illinois licensure (PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement)
• At least 2 years of school-based psychologist experience
• Demonstrated commitment to core values and a persistent, student-focused mindset
• Comprehensive understanding of special education, 504, and MTSS systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, identify, and support the academic and emotional needs of students to remove barriers to learning
• Serve as a consultant and leader for MTSS interventions, especially for Tier 3 students, tracking progress and outcomes
• Participate actively in Network and school-based teams, ensuring compliance with special education and intervention timelines and protocols
• Prepare and present key documentation and reports for IEPs, 504 plans, and eligibility meetings while maintaining confidentiality standards
• Coordinate with external agencies as necessary, managing appropriate documentation and communication
• Stay current with best practices and research to ensure high-quality psychological services for all learners
• Lead professional development and serve as a resource to stakeholders regarding child development and learning disorders
• Maintain close, professional communication with parents, staff, and interdisciplinary teams

This role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with compensation at $85 per hour, offering you a structured yet impactful work environment in one of Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods.
