EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT GROUP, EEO & DIVERSITY DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09/10) grade level or pay band (DA-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing comprehensive counseling to potential EEO complainants including information on the informal and formal discrimination complaints process; Processing formal complaints in accordance with EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission); Conducting fact finding inquiries to resolve disputes; Providing advisory services to management and supervisors; Providing advice and guidance to employees, union officials, and agency representatives; Seeking resolution of complaints through Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques including mediation; Conducting studies and surveys or developing questionnaires to identify issues or barriers to equal employment opportunity as needed for assigned program; Overseeing discrimination complaints tracking program; Preparing formal complaint correspondence and meeting activity specific reporting requirements in accordance agency requirements.
