Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, reliable, and organized Director of Operations to join our rapidly growing team for the management of daily logistics and activities. The ideal candidate, who possesses a passion for ensuring repeatable processes and methodologies are in place, while relying upon strong communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will contribute to delivery capacity by leading our team on strategic initiatives that include supporting human resources, organizing company events, and arranging employee training sessions. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the following duties: Responsibilities Providing strategic input into the launch, maintenance, and enhancement of our new platform, PerVista, which leverages AI to analyze video streams in real-time, and detect firearms. Overseeing day-to-day company operations ensuring the efficiency of business operations and aligning these with the company’s strategic goals. Implementing effective operational policies and processes in the organization to maintain high productivity. Assisting in the development, implementation, and governance of strategic plans to enhance profitability and efficiency. Managing relationships with key operations vendors and strategic partners. Tracking operational metrics and KPIs to understand the company’s operational performance and adjusting as necessary to improve results. Collaborating with HR to create workforce plans and forecasts. Identifying potential risks and safeguarding Wave Welcome’s corporate assets. Ensuring the company’s operational activities remain compliant with legal regulations and best practices. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure overall business process efficiency. Facilitating cross-channel feedback from customers and employees to management. Working with team leaders and managers to learn departmental needs and goals. Ensuring that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards. Observing, reviewing, and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made. Identifying and resolving any gaps in communications or company documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field. Commensurate work experience in lieu of education will be considered. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within the IT, Consulting, Public Safety, or Cybersecurity industries. Proven track record of managing complex operational processes. Strong understanding of project management principles. Familiarity with industry standard IT and Cybersecurity protocols. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure while managing multiple tasks. Proficiency in using business software including project management tools, ERP, and CRM. Experience leading and managing projects and rolling out processes across organizations. Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, and office technologies. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent project management skills and strong ability to set priorities with minimal guidance. Firm grasp on IT, finance, public safety, and operations best practices. Strong communication skills.
