Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Chantilly, VA.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00pm – 3:30am, every 3rd Saturday 6pm - 11pm and 5th Sunday 7pm - 11pmJob Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 year of experience (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environment)Additional Job Standards:Handle biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensWorking in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsAttention to detailMS OfficeLift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test**Pay Range: $17.75 - $20.00 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
