If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!Position Title: Medical AssistantLocation: Seattle, WA 98122Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)Work Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Schedule patient procedures and appointmentsObtain and document vital signs and perform 12-lead EKG/ECGPrepare patients for examinations and update medical historiesVerify insurance information and coordinate appointmentsPerform telephone triage and communicate with patients regarding careReview laboratory results and maintain accurate documentation in EpicProvide quality patient care in an adult cardiology outpatient clinicFollow all clinic policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelinesTo be considered for this position, you should have:Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an Adult Outpatient ClinicProcedure scheduling experience preferredIf no procedure scheduling experience, outpatient Cardiology experience is requiredEpic EMR experience requiredExperience obtaining vital signs, 12-lead EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry, height/weight, and hearing screeningKnowledge of insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and telephone triageAbility to review lab results and document patient history, medications, and allergiesBLS Certification (Required)Active Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) License requiredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant programActive Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) License requiredAdditional Information:Open to both local and non-local candidatesNo on-call or weekend requirementsSame clinic location throughout the assignment (no floating)This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for a permanent position based on performanceTryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
