Sourcing Specialist (6-9 month contract) | US Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Sourcing Specialist to support highvolume hiring across our IT and Digital organizations. In this role, you will partner closely with recruiters to drive a coordinated, highquality talent pipeline.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will provide handson sourcing support while also assisting with recruiting workflows, including application review, candidate prioritization, requisition management, and light scheduling.

The ideal candidate thrives in fastpaced environments, operates with strong judgment, and enjoys collaborating with a small, agile TA team to ensure consistent candidate flow and organized processes.

Estimated contract duration is 6 to 9 months.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Talent Identification

• Partner with the recruiter team to prioritize sourcing workload across active and passive talent pipelines and understand the evolving skill needs and align sourcing strategies.
• Source candidates for active and passive pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, social platforms, and other search technologies.
• Build targeted talent lists and conduct outreach to engage passive candidates.
• Maintain a steady pipeline for recurring technical and digital skill sets.

Recruiter Support & Candidate Review

• Review inbound applications, assess qualifications, and prioritize candidates for recruiter review.
• Conduct initial alignment screens as needed (non decision screens).
• Manage requisition updates in ATS, ensuring all data is accurate and current.
• Organize candidate notes, track pipeline movement, and maintain structured workflows.

Process & Workflow Management

• Partner with recruiters to maintain hiring timelines and SLA adherence.
• Flag pipeline risks (low volume, skill misalignment, delays) and proactively recommend actions.
• Assist in managing outreach campaigns, CRM projects, and reporting pulls when needed.
• Coordinate interview scheduling for early stage screens or simple panel alignments.
• Communicate professionally with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a strong experience.

This position is for a contract engagement with an estimated duration of 6-9 months. The individual selected for this role will be employed by a thirdparty staffing partner, not by BAE Systems, Inc. Engagement terms, including employment, benefits, and payroll administration, will be managed directly by the thirdparty partner.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 5+ years experience in talent sourcing, candidate screening, recruiting coordination, or TA operations (IT or technical recruiting preferred).
• Experience using ATS, CRM, and modern sourcing tools/AI enabled platforms.
• Strong ability to assess resumes for skill fit and alignment with hiring criteria.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in environments with ambiguity; able to adapt quickly, establish clarity where processes are evolving, and maintain momentum when direction or priorities shift.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with leaders, maintaining strong judgment and appropriate stakeholder alignment.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment; strong prioritization and follow through.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Prior experience supporting technical recruiting (Cyber, Cloud, Digital, Software).
• Experience coordinating interviews or supporting scheduling logistics.
• Understanding of talent intelligence concepts or market research.
• Experience in an enterprise environment with structured recruiting processes.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67728 - $115138

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
