Tool Clerk

MUST HAVE: tooling administration, blueprint review, and tool room/inventory coordination experience.

***Work location: 11711 Arrow Route ,Rancho Cucamonga, CA, 91730
***Shift: 1st, 9am-5:30am, M-F
***Pay rate: $21/hour

* Check work on the computer for the employees (tooling, grinding, machining), using the blueprints, entering work orders
* Order tooling that is needed in the organization
* Withdraw tools from stocks if necessary and adjust system of quantities
* Forward request for tooling and prints to Tool Room for review
* Update and distribute Hot Job report on a daily basis
* Collect tooling Green Sheets from departments, pull and attach blueprints, then forward sheets to Tool Room for review
* Pull and fill blank tooling requisitions for Tool Room
* Update and maintain system with cancellations approved by departments
* Quote outside venders
* Work close with purchasing and engineering
* Expedite tooling orders in the Tool Room as requested by departments
* Complete, if necessary, reports and graphs for tracking tool ordering and receipt times
* Compare physical item to print of problem tools to ensure that information is correct (i.e. wrong tool numbers, identify tools, etc.)

Skill/Knowledge:
* High school diploma or GED
* Steel toe shoes required
