FedEx Ground Operations Manager – Delivery Routes | Cincinnati Area

We are hiring an Operations Manager to oversee a FedEx Ground delivery operation in the Northern Cincinnati area.

This role is responsible for daily route planning, driver coordination, vehicle oversight, and communication with station management . The right candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable making real-time decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and adjust daily delivery routes for efficiency
• Manage driver schedules and coverage (7-day operation)
• Ensure all routes are dispatched on time each morning
• Monitor route progress and handle issues during the day
• Coordinate with FedEx station staff and management
• Oversee vehicle condition, maintenance, and readiness
• Support hiring, onboarding, and driver performance

What Success Looks Like

• All routes covered and dispatched on time
• Drivers supported and performing consistently
• Efficient routes with minimal overtime
• Clean safety record and well-maintained vehicles

Compensation

• Base: $900–$1,000 per week
• Weekly performance bonus
• Monthly bonus based on safety, retention, and operations

Total potential: $1,000–$1,400 per week

⏱ Schedule

• Full-time, including some weekend oversight
• Early mornings required (dispatch)
• On-call during delivery hours

✅ Requirements

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage people and stay calm under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and clean background
• Delivery/logistics experience preferred
• FedEx pays for a drug screening and physical
• Must be willing to drive a route 1-2 times per week or as needed
