Project Accountant

Job Description Job Description Well established Construction company is seeking a Project Coordinator / Construction Accounting professional to support our Project Management and Estimating teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of project coordination, accounting, and construction administration. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities Assist with job costing and project-related accounting Set up and maintain vendors and subcontractors in Sage and Procore Collect and maintain required subcontractor documentation, including Certificates of Insurance, W-9s, lien releases, and lien waivers Assist with AIA documentation and contract compliance Coordinate with subcontractors regarding project documentation and outstanding requirements Support Project Managers with project goals, schedules, documentation, and deliverables Track project progress, accomplishments, and outstanding action items Manage communications and documentation between Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders Maintain organized and accurate project and accounting records Provide general administrative support to the Project Management and Estimating teams Sort and distribute incoming mail and project documentation Qualifications Previous experience in project coordination, construction administration, accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or job costing preferred Construction industry experience strongly preferred Experience with Sage and/or Procore is a plus Familiarity with AIA documentation, lien waivers, subcontractor compliance, and construction accounting is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with multiple departments . . . Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
