About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Inventory Coordinator for a short-term, 1-month project supporting laboratory equipment inventory and asset management efforts. This role will be responsible for conducting physical equipment audits, reconciling inventory records, and ensuring asset information is accurately documented within company tracking systems.

This is a great opportunity for someone with inventory, asset tracking, facilities, laboratory, or operations experience who enjoys organization, data accuracy, and hands-on project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory audits of laboratory equipment across multiple site locations.
• Verify equipment information and collect asset details using inventory tracking tools and internal databases.
• Reconcile physical inventory against existing asset records, identifying discrepancies, duplicates, and missing information.
• Update and maintain accurate records within CMMS and asset management systems.
• Partner with laboratory, facilities, and operational teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Track project progress and provide updates on inventory and reconciliation activities.
• Support asset management initiatives focused on improving inventory accuracy and data quality.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and organized throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Experience performing inventory audits, inventory reconciliation, asset tracking, or related activities.
• Familiarity with CMMS, ERP, inventory management, or asset management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, engineering, or facilities environments.
• Basic familiarity with laboratory equipment and terminology.
• Experience working in regulated or GMP environments.
