Spring Bay Physiotherapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our esteemed rehabilitation facility located in Gloucester City, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations, taking into account their medical history and personal goals.
• Design and implement dynamic and effective treatment plans that integrate the latest evidence-based practices focused on mobility enhancement, pain reduction, and overall patient wellness.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to meet the individual needs of diverse patients including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participating in patient care meetings to discuss strategies, share insights, and streamline treatment protocols for effective outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle changes, and preventative care strategies to enhance their recovery and promote long-term health measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will give you the chance to work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, or chronic health conditions. You will develop relationships with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to suit the unique needs and circumstances of each individual, ranging from young athletes to older adults facing mobility challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the capacity to think critically when assessing patients and developing treatment strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a fast-paced workflow and delivering high-quality patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in a rehabilitation facility setting.
• Experience with contemporary physical therapy modalities and techniques that foster patient engagement and participation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation and progress tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
