Construction Manager

Job Description
The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction for large scale capital projects related to electric power generation facilities. Daily responsibilities include:
• Lead Construction Management for Assigned Projects • Interface between client Project Manager and Plant Personnel with all project field activities • Safety Leader/champion for assigned projects • Interface between contractors and owners engineer • Project development functions
Skills and Requirements
• Ideally 10 years of experience managing construction of industrial facilities (not looking for candidates from a residential construction background) • Experience and understanding of projects supporting facilities controls (motor control centers/MCCs, control cabinets, etc.) • Understanding of MS office applications (Excel, Word, Teams) • Familiarity with combined cycle or power generation facilities • Familiarity with related industrial equipment (boilers, chillers, etc.) • Related electrical equipment knowledge (conduit routing, wiring, controls) • OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification
