LVN/LPN
LVN to cover FastTrack in the Infusion Center. The LVN will administer injections, access ports, and perform peripheral blood draws. Responsibilities include conducting simple infusions such as hydration. Experience required in central line blood draws and dressing changes. Must effectively communicate patient status changes to the RN and MD. Ability to set goals with patients and their families is essential. The candidate should be knowledgeable in medical oncology treatment protocols. Experience in conducting pain assessments and symptom management is necessary. Patient education and support are vital aspects of this role. The LVN will monitor vital signs and manage wound care, including the use of wound vacs and drains. The ability to perform telephone triage and administer vaccines is also required. Daily census includes adult and geriatric patients with a high volume of visits. Interdisciplinary support includes phlebotomy services. Experience in outpatient clinic or urgent care is a plus. The role may require float shifts to cover other areas as needed.
