Job Title:  Assembly Worker
Location: Bridgeview IL 60455
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Pay Rate: USD 19.00 per hour
Contract Type: TTH Qualifications

• Ability to learn and follow all safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting steel strapping coils.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow workplace safety requirements.
• Must provide steel-toed boots. Additional task-specific PPE will be provided onsite.
• Reliable team player with the ability to assist with production delays and changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manufacturing steel strapping on the strap line.
• Remove coils from rewinder reels using coil carriers.
• Transport coils from the rewinders to the conveyor system.
• Visually inspect coils for obvious defects or markings that do not meet quality standards.
• Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to the welding position.
• Spot-weld individual straps at the appropriate intervals.
• Support the team in resolving production delays and completing product size changeovers.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
