Senior Accountant

A growing, privately held energy investment and operating company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Fort Worth team. This is a newly created opportunity for an accountant who wants more than a traditional accounting role—with exposure to energy assets, financial reporting, business operations, senior leadership, and process improvement. Work across a diverse portfolio of domestic and international energy assets Gain broad exposure beyond traditional accounting High visibility with senior leadership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment Opportunity to take ownership and grow with the organization Help leverage AI, automation, and technology to improve accounting and reporting What You’ll Do Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Perform reconciliations, account analyses, and variance analysis Support audits, internal controls, and technical accounting research Prepare lender covenant and compliance reporting Partner with Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and Operations Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and automation Develop reporting tools and provide insights to management What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of accounting experience Oil & gas experience required — either public accounting experience serving energy clients or direct industry experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred Strong U.S. GAAP, Excel, and financial reporting skills Strong analytical and business acumen Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn Comfortable embracing AI and emerging technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
