Senior Accountant

LHH has partnered with a growing Distribution company to hire a Senior Accountant located in Fort Worth, TX. This role will lead the month end close process, responsible for the general ledger and support the annual audit. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner. Serve as the primary contact for all state Sales and Use Tax issues, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Assist in reconciling General Ledger accounts, maintaining meticulous records. Collaborate closely with the AP Department to ensure accurate vendor payments. Support the preparation of Journal Entries for monthly close procedures. Work closely with the Controller to ensure completeness and accuracy in month-end close processes. Provide support during external audits as required. Assist the Controller with additional tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
